About Us
Camille Blue Amy Camille Blue Amy was born in Paducah, Kentucky on July 11th. Nicknamed Mickey, she attended Hopkinsville High School where she was a radio deejay on WHOP. She attended Murray State University and studied music for 8 years before traveling to Alaska where she managed a credit bureau, read children’s books on the radio on Saturday mornings and sang jazz in the evenings at the Narrows Supper Club. Although she always wanted to be an architect, she has instead become an inventor, art broker and three time gallery owner not to mention mother to three grown children and grandmother of two. Camille is a modern Renaissance woman who resides in Punta Gorda, Florida from late autumn to late spring and in Portland, Ontario during the summer months with her husband of 46 years. She loves to paint and do stain glass in her cottage studio in Portland, and has a passion for West Highland Terriers, sailing, tennis and golf.
Lorena Pugh Lorena Pugh studied illustration at Pratt Institute in New York and has won many national awards for her animal paintings. Her paintings and prints can be seen at www.purebrededitions.com. This is her first children's book.
